- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(i) this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Broadcasting Board of Governors seeks to identify any potential sources capable of providing services as identified herein. These services are for Software Maintenance, Technical Support and Feature Software Releases for the Power VU Plus System. The services performed must be an authorized Cisco service provider that have been trained by CISCO - no other source will be considered. The quality of services needed includes Software Maintenance, IRD Repair, Feature Releases, On-Site Technical Support and Training. Provider must be able to travel to various locations - Washington DC; Miami Florida, Greenville; North Carolina; Munich, Germany; Prague, Czech Rep.; Kuwait City, Kuwait; Tinang, Philippines; Bagdad; Spring Field, Virginia; Delano, California and Dubia. This requirement is anticipated to have Base Year and Four Option Years all options will be exercise at the discretion of the Government. This requirement will be procured using FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). The solicitation will contain the Statement of work and evaluation factor is expected to be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov) website no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. It is anticipated that if no other sources response a sole source solicitation will be issued to CISCO.
