Description
This is the Statement of Work for this contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 6th Contracting Office is soliciting a requirement for a Lease agreement for a 14 ft Box van to be used as a mail truck. See the attached Statement of Work for requirement specificificationss. This solicitation is subject to FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. The Government will award one (1) contract to fulfill this requirement. The performance period for this contract is from 7 May 2010 through 6 May 2011, with two (2) option years. This acquisition will be solicited using FAR part 12 (Commercial Item, 12.203). The government will evaluate the competitive offers by using Best Value evaluation procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 532120 and the related small business size standard is $25.5 million, and a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order. The response date for this solicitation is April 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard. Notification of any revisions to this solicitation will be provided via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Procurement documents will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or compact disc format. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the FBO website daily for any posted revisions made to the solicitation. The solicitation will available for all interested parties to download from the FBO website. The closing date, time and submission. Any site visit information will be included in the solicitation document if required. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. The following Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) clause applies and is incorporated in full texts: AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman: (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication or protests or formal contract disputes.
