- Title: White Pine Pruning RECOVERY White Pine Pruning - Cabinet Road Description(s): THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) of 2009; interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0204 on or about April 27, 2010 for the RECOVERY Kootenai National Forest, Cabinet Ranger District, Montana White Pine Pruning Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 27, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of approximately 318 acres of white pine pruning, and related work including furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. The anticipated period of performance is planned for Fiscal Year 2011, June through September. PROJECT LOCATION: This work is located on the Cabinet Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest. PARTICIPATION: This project is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310. The small business size standard is $7.0 million average income for the last 3 years. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered.
