- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase 6734 tons of 3/4 in. x 1 1/2 in. crushed rock (road base). Delivery is to be to Camp Roberts in San Miguel, CA zip code 93451. The delivery will take place 5 miles in, from the main gate entrance to Camp Roberts, with material to be tailgate spread on road. All bids and proposals must include the cost of delivery/trucking to Camp Roberts. Delivery to be within 30 days after receipt of order, or sooner. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. The following Federal Acquistion Regulation (FAR) clauses are hereby incorporated: 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.233-3 Protest After Award; 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim; 52.249-1 Termination for Convenience of the Government (Fixed Price) Short Form; 52.249-8 Default (Fixed-Price Supply and Service); 52.252-2 Clauses incorporated by Reference; (DFAR) 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense acquisition of Commercial Items. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than 10:00am PST on or before Friday, April 23, 2010, and may be e-mailed to jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil or faxed to 805-594-6348.
