Description

This notice constitutes a Request for Information/Comment only, THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION; no award will be made for this effort at this time. Marine Corps System Command (MCSC) awarded Contract Number M67854-09-D-1062 as a sole Source Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract to Talley Defense Systems, Inc. The ID/IQ contract award was for the procurement of the M72A7 Lightweight Anti-Armor Weapon (LAW) system suite. The M72 LAW system suite consists of: M72A7 LAW rocket w/graze; M72AS LAW training rockets; M72AS LAW inert training rockets; M72AS trainer launchers; M72A7 LAW launcher conversions to M72AS trainer launchers; M72AS LAW trainer launcher boxes; M72AS trainer launcher cleaning kits. MCSC is trying to determine the status of the market to see if someone has the capability to provide this type of weapon system. Therefore, this notice is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation document will not be issued. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for the item and past performance data not later than April 23, 2010 via email to Wendy Thompson, wendy.thompson@usmc.mil. Responses received by April 23, 2010 will be considered by the Government.
