Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for six (6) new electric (off road) mini trucks for use at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK. Based upon previous Market Survey responses, this RFQ has been determined as a small-business set aside. Therefore, to be considered, your company must be registered and listed as a small business on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) website (www.ccr.gov). The NAICS Code for this requirement is 336112, Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The electric mini trucks must be the following specifications: Two passengersLength. 140 inch to 156 inchWidth. 57 inch to 67 inchHeight. 70 inch to 72 inchGround clearance. 6.5 inch to 8.0 inchInside length cargo area. 65 inch to 90 inchInside width cargo area. 50 inch to 56 inchInside height cargo area. 12 inch to 20 inchWheel base. 92 inch to 103 inch Transmission direct drive or electronic manual shift. On board automatic charger Regenerative brakingBrakes disk or drum 30-40 mile driving rangMotor electric. Rpm 1.650 to 2.000 @ 4.7 to5.5 kw 48 to 72 volt.Tires 13 inch or 14 inchPassenger Heater & defrosterRepair manuals & parts manualsNo air conditionerNo electric windowsNo radio Interested vendors should respond with the following: (1)The specific manufacturer with their manufacturer's part number.(2)Quoted price along with any quantity (price break) discount purchases, e.g., range of 1 to 10.(3)Provide a description of the terms and conditions of warranties and the processes and procedures (for each specific manufacturer and manufacturer's part number). This information is required in order for the FAA to obtain warranty repair service, if required.(4)Complete and return the attached Business Declaration Form. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offeror's program eligibility. Please submit a quote (you may use your company's letterhead), incorporating the attached "FAA Clause Sheet" (most likely, but not limited to clause numbers 6, 8, 33, 37, 43) for this requirement. Quotes are to be quoted FOB Destination (MMAC, Oklahoma City); please include estimated delivery timeframe. Responses should be submitted in a Microsoft Word (preferred); however, portable document format (i.e..pdf file) is acceptable. The FAA will not respond to telephonic inquiries. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this RFQ. This announcement shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these products. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial response. The final determination by the FAA not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the FAA.
