- Modification #2: Answer questions and issue New Statement of Work The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQP0611000005 for the provision of Elevator Maintenance services. The services will be provided at the Federal Detention Center, SeaTac, Washington. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four option years. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year is 12 months. The solicitation will be available on or about February 26, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about May 4, 2010. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The acquisition is unrestricted.
