- This notice is amended to inform prospective offerors/quoters that the Government may award two separate contracts for this work - one for hazard tree felling, and a separate one for hazardous limb removal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-447U-S-10-0029CG is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for the Ozark - St. Francis National Forest, Russellville, AR requirement for hazard tree and limb removal along specified roadways within the Sylamore Ranger District, as described in the attached Statement of Work and map. Offerors must provide a price per mile for Hazard Tree Felling, and a price per mile for Hazardous Limb Removal, along with a brief description of their capabilities, equipment proposed for use, and a summary of past performance on similar tasks. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39, effective March 19, 2010. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 115310. The small business size standard is $7.0 Million. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. One or two awards will be made to the offeror(s) that is (are) determined to provide the best value to the Government considering price, capabilities, and past performance. Funding for this project may be limited. Accordingly, the Government reserves the right to award a contract for less than the estimated quantity or the total miles shown on the attached map. Offerors are required to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its quote. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR Clauses, listed therein, are applicable to this acquisition - 52.219-8, 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33. Written quotes must be submitted to the below Contracting Office address to arrive no later than 4:00 PM CDT, April 26, 2010. All offerors who submit a quote must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, and must have completed Representations and Certifications (ORCA) in accordance with FAR 52.204-8. Offerors who fail to register in CCR and/or complete ORCA will not be considered for award.
