- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability, interest, and capabilities of qualified members of the Small Business community (Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone businesses, and certified 8(a) firms) as potential sources of supply. This notice is being posted for fact finding and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quote, or an indication the Government will contract for the items herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The information you provide will only be utilized by National Park Service in developing its acquisition approach for this requirement. Reponses shall include:- Company Name, DUNS number, Mailing Address, Point of Contact- - Indicate if your firm is large, small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone, veteran owned, service-disabled veteran owned, and/or 8(a) certified business concern for NAICS 333315- Describe your company's ability to provide the products listed below: Description of Items:5 each - Time-lapse Camera package. Time-lapse package to include:1. Canon Rebel XS (1000D) Camera or better 2. Fiberglass housing, glass window3. High capacity internal battery pack4. 5 watt solar panel5. Solar charger6. Battery converter7. DigiSnap 21008. Pair of 8 GB memory cards9. All required tools, cables, manuals and accessories10. Shipped fully assembled11. 32 GB Memory card12. 12V Battery Cable, 20 FT Time lapse camera system must be completely autonomous and capable of acquiring photographs at a user-specified interval for one year under harsh environmental conditions (-40 to +30 C). Camera enclosure must have a glass window and gaskets that are both air and water tight. Enclosure must have a camera mounting system that allows the camera to be easily removed from the housing and replaced at the exact same orientation. Internal power supply must include non-venting rechargeable battery pack and circuitry for powering a programmable shutter release and digital SLR camera. Photovoltaic charging system must include solar panel and a charge controller. The programmable shutter release must be compatible with various digital SLR cameras. It must be capable of taking photographs at user-specified intervals and should interface with a computer. The camera must be a digital SLR, capable of acquiring high-resolution (i.e. 10 MP) photographs. Camera must be able to acquire photographs in both JPEG and raw format. Time lapse system should include computer software and full documentation. Shipping FOB Destination to Seward, AK by 06/01/2010. The Request for Quote (RFQ) Q2101100012 will be issued on or after April 27, 2010 subject to change. Interested vendors should respond by April 26, 2010.
