- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to award a fixed price delivery order on a sole source basis against contract N00164-05-D-8272 to Honeywell International, Inc, 2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneapolis, MN for a quantity of three inertial measuring units P/N HG9900CID-2030. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It has been determined that Honeywell is the manufacturer of these products with proprietary drawings. The level III drawing package necessary to manufacture these items is not available from the Government to be provided for this procurement. Inspection/acceptance shall be at source by DCMA. Transportation shall be FOB destination NSWC Crane. Delivery shall be required no later than 270 days from date of order. This procurement is for commercial items and FAR Part 12 procedures will be used. The applicable NAICS Classification is 336413 and the size standard is 1,000. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
