- It is anticipated that RFP VA528-10-RP -0129 3E-W Corridor Renovations will be issued the week of April 19th, 2010 with proposals due 5/23/2010 at 11:00am. The solicitation documents will be available from the FBO.gov website and no paper copies will be provided. Work involves but is not limited to General Construction including demolition, architectural finishes, Divisions 1, 2,7, 9,10, 23, and 26. Finishes, Asbestos abatement, HVAC, electrical, communication and electronic safety/security is involved. Attendance at a pre-proposal meeting being scheduled for at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse NY 13210 is considered essential. The time and date will be in the posted RFP. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation that will be MADE TO THE LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE OFFER. This is not a Sealed Bid Procurement. This is a Competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) setaside. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), VETBIZ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). CCR, ORCA and Vetbiz registration must be current and active to be eligible for contract award. Estimated total construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $ 33.5M
