- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is requesting quotes for the procurement of new (not refurbished) Commercial-Off-The-Self (COTS) Panasonic Toughbook 19 Rugged Equipment Command and Control Integrating Laptops. The Contractor must be an authorized reseller of the equipment and will be responsible for the purchase, delivery and warranty of the equipment. The FAA conducted a market survey to determine whether adequate competition exist to set-aside this procurement. Based on market analysis, the FAA has determined that there is adequate competition in the market place to set-aside this procurement for service-disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSB). Qualified vendors must submit responses no later than 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on April 27, 2010. All responses to this request for quote must be in writing and on company letterhead. Please include a completed schedule (attached), Business Declaration Form (attached) and proof of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business certification.
