Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Lease of Heavy Equipment) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), RFQ # M67399-10-Q-0025. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 532412. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 7353. The small business size standard is $7.0 Million. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is W038. This solicitation is for the lease of heavy equipment. The requirement is listed as follows: Line Item Quantity Nomenclature CLIN 0001QTY: 02EXCAVATORRental of 330C CAT Excavator or equal with blast shield level 4 or greater, enclosed cab, air, heat, and tires, must have 50 percent tread wear or 20/32 inch measured on center of tire or better. Equipment must have less than 7,000 hours of usage or better. Period of Performance is from 30 April 2010 to 7 May 2010. CLIN 0002QTY: 03 ROCK DUMP Rental of 35 to 40 Ton Articulated Rock Dump with air, heat and tires must have 50 percent tread wear or 20/32 inch measured on center of tire or better. Equipment must have less than 7,000 hours of usage or better. Period of Performance is from 30 April 2010 to 7 May 2010. CLIN 0003 Qty: 03 FRONT END LOADER Rental of 966 G CAT Front End Loader or equal with enclosed cab, air, heat, 5 yard 4 in 1 combo bucket with quick connect hydraulic and adjustable hydraulic pallet forks that move back and forth. Tires must be 50 percent tread wear or 20/32 inch measured on center of tire or better. Equipment must have less than 7,000 hours of usage or better. Period of Performance is from 30 April 2010 to 7 May 2010. Place of contract delivery and acceptance will be at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Twentynine Palms, CA 92278. The vendor selected for award will be required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow.
