- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Archbold Biological Station. The award will be made for the continuation of services for the scrub jay surveys to evaluate a suitability of the scrub -Jay habitat on each of the 18 public parcels. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, for Other than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. All inquiries and concerns shall be addressed in writing to U.S. Fish and Wildlife for Region 4 Jacksonville Ecological Services Office. Attention: Nijua Heard, 1875 Century Blvd, Atlanta, Georgia 303045, or sent by email to nijua_heard@fws.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:30 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Thursday, April 15, 2010. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
