- The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, Darnall Army Community Hospital intends on Sole Sourcing a Firm Fixed Price maintenance contract on or about April 14, 2010 to Nuance Communications. This procurement is for 12-months of Preventive Maintenance and Repair support on all Nuance PowerScribe Voice Recognition System Software and Hardware. Nuance Communications has sole proprietary of software and services which must be provided by Nuance certified technicians. Support may be provided via VPN access, help desk or by having a technician on site as the situation may warrant. The NAICS code of this procurement is 811213 and the size standard is 7.0M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, vendors believing that they can provide equal or better service may submit in writing a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offereors bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the service required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
