- Proposal Check List Solicitation The Department of Defense Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) intends to award a contract using FAR Part 12 and 13 procedures as allowed by FAR 13.5, for transportation bus services for DoD dependent students in grades 9 through 12 residing on Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB), MA, to and from Bedford High School in Bedford, MA. The period of performance will be 1 August 2010 through 31 July 2010 with the option to extend services for up to four one year options. The solicitation number is HEVAS6-10-T-0002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39, effective 19 Mar 2010; Class Deviation 2009-O0009 and DCN 20100408. The Department of Defense Domestic Elementary and Secondary Schools is a Federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualified for academic/educational pricing. This acquisition is sought as a small business set aside under FSC Code: V212, Motor Passenger Service. NAICS Code: 485410, School and Employee Bus Transportation. Size Standard: $7 M. The submission due date and time is 12 May 2010 at 2:00 PM (EST). Fax and email responses will not be accepted.
