- NSN 1025-01-536-7954, PN 13006406, Item is the PFM Cover Assy for use on the M777 Howitzer. Proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with four ordering periods. The guaranteed quantity is 87. The maximum quantity over the life of the contract is 2,000. The PFM Cover Assy consists of 1 Shell for the Cover Assy (PN 13007980), 1 Double Arm Handle (PN 13007987), 1 Handle Tee (PN 13007985), 1 Sleeve (PN 13007983), 1 Compression Spring (PN 13006477), 1 Pin, Spring (MS 16582-224), 1 Insert, PFM Foam (PN 13007989) and 1 U-Gasket (PN 13007986). The long lead item would be PN 13007980 that is polyethylene plastic molding and extrusion, group 2, class 2, grade 3 per ASTM D 4976. Color black with UV Stabilizer. The assembled part is approx 19.04 inches by 8.88 inches by 11.10 inches. First article testing is required. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 27 Apr 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
