- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Instrument Enclosure, used for Micro-Pulse Lidar(MPL) systems. Model 633 SP All alum. Enclosure; Interior dim. 72Hx30Wx34D;Insulation R14 (3); Unit with QTY: 2 singe doors (front and rear), full opening, withspecial gasketing in retaining alum. Channel, pull handles, stainless steel & raingutters QTY: 4 Top lift rings, stainless steel in each corner cap; Qty: 4 special liftinghandles, stainless steel, spring loaded on shelter sides Qty: 2 Alum. Skids, 2Wx 3H,extended with Qty: 4 Tie down shoes; 1 special roof cut-out, framed, 12 sq. withmounting bolt holes.10 OC; Qty: 1 Bulkhead w/removable alum. Plate, ~4sq.; Qty: 1-19Equipment racks, 24Hx20D with shelf above; Unit prewired & temp. controlled with 4000Btu air conditioner, 500W heater, internal thermo-stat & supply air diffuser for uniformair distribution; Unit with stainless steel case and Smart Control; package Qty: 2Power plug supplies, 1-30A, 120V, 1,60Hz & 1-16A, 220V, 1, 50Hz; Small power panel withQty: 3 breakers & 15A outlet strip with switch, 6 outlet capacity; Qty: 1-5 KVATransformer (Nema 3R rating); 220V, 1, 50Hz primary; 120V, 1, 50Hz secondary (installbelow air cond.); Qty: 1 Manual transfer switch (Nema 1 rating), 30A, 1, non-fused(installed inside); NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from EKTO Manufacturing Corporation, pursuant toFAR 13.106 for the acquisition of supplies or services determine to be reasonably fromone source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement to perform the effort inwriting to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local time on April30, 2010. Such statements/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered bythe agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
