- AMENDMENT 2: The purpose of this amendment is to change the description from 360 inches to 360 linear feet of privacy barricade. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Acknowledge amendment with solicitation submittal. AMENDMENT 1: The purpose of this amendment is to change the description from 360 linear feet of privacy barricades to 360 inches of privacy barricade. All other information in the presolicitation notice remains unchanged. The 316th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the rental of 15,000 linear feet of event barricades, commonly known as bicycle barricades, security barricades or pedestrian barricades for crowd control and 360 linear feet of privacy barricades for Joint Base Andrews-NAF Washington, Maryland in support of the 2010 Joint Service Open House (JSOH) from 14 May 2010 through 16 May 2010. This action will be a total 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532490 (Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing) with the business size standard dollar amount of $7M. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 12 April 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals.
