- Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION, GSA FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE 874-1 - MISSION ORIENTED BUSINESS INTEGRATED SERVICES (MOBIS) - CONSULTING SERVICES The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Bethesda, Maryland has a requirement to provide personnel staffing for a period of two (2) years beginning from date of award for the following position of Virology Technician, and the successful completion of the in vivo characterization of the mutant H1N1 and H5N1 based viruses in mouse, ferret, nonhuman primate and pig animal models. This work will include virus titration, diverse molecular techniques, immunology and serology. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive solicitation (RFQ451440) will be issued via GSA E-Buy. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act.
