- Description
- This is a sole source, follow on procurement for the move and reshelving of the Moving Images Collection from an outside storage facility back to the NAVCC site. Approximately 650 pallets of 16mm film and 2" videotapes will be delivered in refrigerated trucks, truck sealed, recorded and transported for unloading and reshelving in accordance with the Library's organizational system. A fixed price contract will be issued to Office Movers, Inc for this work. OMI has already moved over one million moving image items and has expertise with moving irreplaceable items that form a part of the record of our nation's heritage, with the layout of the Library's facilities at Culpeper and with the organization of the collections located there. OMI's familiarity with the Library's shelving and organizational system ensures that extra effort and funds do not have to be expended to ensure proper organization. The value of the contract is estimated at $100,000. Other offerors are welcome to submit a capability statement, proposal or quote.
