- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, Nebraska, intends to enter into a single source contract with Roche Diagnostics, Indianapolis, Indiana, for reagents. The reagents to be purchased are: 05 233 526 001 GS Titanium Sequencing Kit XLR70 (200 cycle - 70 x 75) For use with the GS Titanium PicoTiterPlate Kit 70x75 05 233 682 001 GS Titanium PicoTiterPlate Kit 70x75 - PTP with unique metallic coating to be used only with Titanium emPCR and Titanium Sequencing Kit XLR70. Plate uses all of the same gaskets that are currently available (2-, 4, 8- and 16-region). 05 618 428 001 GS Titanium emPCR Kit (Lib-L) - emPCR kit V2 for the 2-region 70x75 PTP; Polymerase included 05 233 658 001 GS Titanium emPCR Breaking Kits LV/MV 12pc - Kit contains 12 individually packaged breaking devices 05 608 228 001 GS Rapid Library Prep Kit - For preparation of 12 shotgun type ligated libraries 05 463 343 001 Titanium Paired End Adapter Kit - For preparation of 10 paired-end libraries Roche is the sole supplier an distributor of the GS FLX instrument. The GS titanium library preparation reagents, emulsion based PCR kits, sequencing kits, and PicoTiter Plate Kits are only available through Roche. The GS FLX warranty is conditional that customers agree to use the instrument in strict accordance with Roche operating instructions.
