- Specifications Drawings RFP 10-223-SOL-00038 The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Lab Complex in Jefferson, Arkansas, is seeking firms interested in performing the fit out of NCTR building 50 3rd floor. The scope of work consists of the fit-out to existing shell space on the 3rd floor of Building 50 which consists of approximately 7,000 SF of office fit out. The 7,000 SF scope is comprised of "fitting-out" offices, storage areas, office support spaces, conference rooms, toilet rooms, and building support spaces. Sustainable strategies which will be implemented include high recycled content and low VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) for building materials, and low flow plumbing fixtures. Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Security and Instrumentation trades will be required as indicated on the contract drawings and specifications. This procurement will be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 M. The period of performance is 150 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price. Drawings and specifications will be available for download on Federal Business Opportunity website when the RFP is issued. Pre-Proposal/Site Visit for interested vendors will be held on site in Jefferson Arkansas on April 28, 2010 at 10a.m. It is anticipated that source selection will be based on best value (FAR 15.101-1); therefore, proposals will be evaluated on technical merit, past performance and price. Competitive formal source selection procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 15.3.
