- Responses to questions submitted to DHS in regard to Automatic Target Recognition Algorithms Development For Advanced Imaging Technology - BAA10-10. The purpose of this amendment to BAA10-10 is to: Revise the SOW included in BAA10-10 solicitation; Provide responses to question submitted in regard to BAA10-10 and, Extend the due date of "White Papers" from 4:30 EST on April 16, 2010 to 4:30PM EST on 23 April 2010. The SOW included in the BAA10-10 solicitation, specifically page 6, paragraph 1.8.2 has been deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: Paragraph 1.8.2 Scope of Work The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: Develop, verify, deliver and install ATR Algorithms a.) Development: The ATR Algorithms development shall include algorithms, source code, executable code and batch processing capability in a common commercial programming language (i.e., C, Fortran, Matlab, etc.) in a standard data format (i.e., Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine, DICOM, or Digital Imaging and Communications in Security, DICOS, etc.) and a method for loading.img files from a Government-provided disk (these files may be taken from an X-ray, millimeter wave, etc.). The ATR Algorithms, when integrated with AIT, shall utilize advanced image processing techniques in order to automatically detect prohibited items. Additionally, the algorithm design shall include the capability to perform as a modular component, integrated with multiple screening systems. Development shall also include software upgrades that will be installed during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. b.) Verification: A sample image set collected from the TSL systems shall be analyzed to identify anomalies on persons scanned using a TSL-owned AIT system. This image set shall serve as inputs to the ATR Algorithm design activity. c.) Delivery: Delivery of ATR Algorithms, including all items listed in (a), to TSL shall occur no later than 11 months after award date. The Contractor(s) shall prepare and submit a Vendor Data Package to include supporting test data no later than 30 days before delivery. d.) Installation: The Contractor(s) will perform installation of the ATR Algorithms into a Government-designated general-purpose computer located at the TSL.
