Description
Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Program Industry Day The purpose of this announcement is to make notification of the EAGLE Program Industry Day. The Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Rock Island, IL, in conjunction with the Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and other Army Commands, is leading a comprehensive acquisition to fulfill the Army's future logistics requirements to obtain contract services to support global missions that ensure success of the Army imperatives to sustain the Armys soldiers, families and civilians, to prepare forces for victory in current conflicts, to reset forces to rebuild readiness for future deployments and contingencies, and to transform forces to meet the demands of a persistent conflict in the 21st Century. Contract services are contemplated for both CONUS and OCONUS operating environments. Customers for this contract may include all Department of Defense, US Government Agencies, Coalition partners, and foreign governments. The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) of the Army Contracting Command (ACC) currently provides cradle to grave contracting support for ASC requirements and is issuing this notification on their behalf. In addition, the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) is supporting the contracting efforts of this acquisition. The Armys future logistics acquisition is contemplated to be executed as Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs). The contemplated ordering period for the basic contract efforts consists of a two-year base with eight potential option years, utilizing Award Term provisions. The Government anticipates using an On-Ramp/Off-Ramp approach to allow for the entrance and exit of contractors to insure sufficient capability exists to continuously support requirements. Task Orders may include Cost-Plus, Fixed-Price or Time and Material with a multitude of incentive arrangements, including award fee, incentive fee, and fixed fee. A Sources Sought notification was published via FedBizOpps on 9 February 2010; it closed 11 March 2010. In an effort to further the Governments market research, an Industry Day is being held on 17-18 May 2010 at the Radisson Quad City Plaza in Davenport, Iowa. The conference will begin on Monday, 17 May at 1100 CDT and will continue with break-out sessions on Tuesday, 18 May. Additional information on the Industry Day, including agenda, and information on accommodations can be found at the following website: http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aaisdus/EAGLE.aspx All parties interested in attending the industry day must contact the RICC Center with the name of your firm and the names of individual personnel attending, by 10 May 2010 to ROCK-EAGLE@conus.army.mil or CCRC-FM, 1 Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299. A response from the Government will act as your registration confirmation. Additionally, 20-minute contractor break-out sessions will be held on a first come first serve basis on 18 May 2010 beginning at 0800 CDT. Parties interested in scheduling a break-out session must contact the RICC at ROCK-EAGLE@conus.army.mil with the name of your firm. A response from the Government will confirm your time. Finally, all parties are encouraged to submit questions that may be answered at the Industry Day no later than 3 May 2010 to the above referenced mailbox.
