- The Mission and Installtion and Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a sole source purchase order for the purchase of Emergency Nurse Pediactric Care Provider Manuals (ENPC) for the AMEDD Center and School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. MICC is contemplating award to Emergency Nurse Association, Des Plaines, IL, as the only source that can provide this requirement for the AMEDD School and Center with the Emergency Nurse Pediactric Care, Third Edition, Provider Manuals. The Emergency Nurses Association is the printer, manufacturer and only seller of this book. The purchase order is for 350 Provider Manuals and 350 Registration Fees for the classes being taught throughout the year. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1: Only One Responsible Source. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the response received to this synopsis is solelywithin the descretion of the Government. This is not a request for proposals, however, all responses to this notice must be recived no later than 4:00 PM Central Time on 23 April 2010.
