- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Brand Name only(justification is attached) commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separate from this announcement. Solicitation DE-RQ65-10WG87125 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is %100 reserved for small business. The North American Industrial Code (NAICS) is 334210 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. COMMERCIAL ITEM SPECIFICATION The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region requires the following: Description RFL, DACS-R KIT-RFL IMUX 2000 DACS-R SUPPLIED WITH DUAL 48/125VDC POWER SUPPLIES AND EIGHT RJ48C ELECTRICAL I/O PORTS, RFL PART NUMBER: DCD2011111111 Quantity 5 Unit KT Price per Unit $_____________ TOTAL $_____________ New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This is a brand name requirement, therefore no substitute/alternate products will be accepted. The following FAR clauses/provisions are applicable to this acquisition and all are attached. FAR Clause/Provisions: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. Unless currently registered, offerors should include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, found at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm or, complete a copy in the ORCA database http://orca.bpn.gov. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the CCR, it may do so through the CCR website at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/. Evaluation- The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quotation is the most advantageous to the Government. The following factors will be considered: price and *delivery terms. *Delivery Terms- Must be able to deliver items within 30 days or less After Receipt of Order (ARO), FOB Destination to 615 S. 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. The offeror with the lowest price, that can meet the delivery terms will be issued the award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
