- Synopsis: This will be a fixed-price acquisition for chip detectors, also known as metallic particle detectors. Applicable to the UH-1H and UH-1N helicopters. Qty: Basic-11 each including first article. This will also contain three annual options with a quantity of 1-20 each. NSN: 2995-01-327-7703, P/N: 1D851. The government does not own the data package, therefore, competition will be limited to qualified sources and a first article will be required. The acquisition will not be set aside for small businesses. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 26 April 2010.
