- add the following to Paragraph C.6. General Requirements: Repair Service The Contractor shall perform all repairs as required to restore equipment to optimum operating performance. The COTR will notify the contractor of equipment that has broken down and in need of repair. Notice of repairs shall be placed by the COTR or designee. The Contractor shall be on site and initiate repairs to the equipment listed herein within 24 hours (one-work days) after a call has been placed by the COTR or designee. The Contractor shall restore equipment to service as soon as reasonably possible. For equipment expected to be out of service for extended periods of time, the Contractor shall provide the COTR with a written report of the repair problems, the steps the Contractor has taken to remedy them, and the expected time that the equipment shall be returned to service. A written update to this report shall be made as often as the COTR requests the report. Repair requirements shall not be accumulated or backlogged. Each repair accomplished shall be a complete repair. Temporary repairs will not be allowed unless specifically approved by the COTR in advance. Clear justification for temporary repairs must be provided in writing and accepted by the COTR in order to obtain approval.
