- The Directorate of Contacting at Fort Drum, NY plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Grounds Maintenance Services in support of MEDDAC on Fort Drum, NY. SUBJECT SOLICITATION WILL BE 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The successful contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all work. This includes but is not limited to Mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and clean up. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about April 16, 2009. The DUE DATE for the solicitation will be set at the time of actual issuance/posting. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the government. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The resultant contract will be a base period plus four option periods, Firm Fixed-Price Requirements type contract. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference RFQ Number W911S2-10-T-3009. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments will only be available electronically by accessing either Federal Business Opportunities at http://fedbizopps.gov/ or the Army Single Face to Industry at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ No hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to quote are required to monitor these sites for any/all amendments to the RFQ.
