- Description
- The Forest Service requires spraying of approximately 5,480 designated lodgepole pine trees in 15 designated recreation sites in order to provide protection from Mountain Pine Beetles. This project is located on the Challis-Yankee Fork, Lost River, and Middle Fork Ranger Districts of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Custer County, Idaho. This project will be advertised as a commercial item written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The performance period will be 14 calendar days. Work is estimated to start June 7, 2009, actual start dates will be dependent upon weather conditions. Quotes are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, May 26, 2010. The solicitation will be available on approximately April 23, 2010, and may be downloaded from this site at that time. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
