- The U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends on Sole Sourcing a Firm Fixed Price Maintenance contract on or about April 16, 2010 to Stanley Security Solutions to support the security systems purchased for Defense Acquisition University (DAU). The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting competition, Soliciting from a single source to Stanley Security Solutions, Inc., Local Office, 8955 Henkels Lane, Suite 508, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701. This procurement is for base 12-months with 4 one-year options of maintenance support which includes; parts, labor and software upgrades of the factory-maintained masterkey system, Best Peaks proprietary system, MX8 patented keying system and the Wi-Q wireless access control system. The selected NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services, with size standard is $12.50 million. These maintenance services are considered available only from the original source for the continued usage of the previously purchased equipment, as awarding to another source would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling DAUs requirement. However, vendors believing that they can provide an equal to or better product can identify their capabilities by responding in writing to stephenie.w.charlot@us.army.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 3MB. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
