- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Small Business concerns only. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 236210. The estimated time for completion is approximately 734 days. The solicitation, when issued, will be formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated by sections of the FAR 15.203 for a competitive negotiated procurement utilizing the authorized Low Price Technical Acceptable selection procedures of FAR 15.101. The acquisition is for the renovation of Hangar 5 and Pier 4 for NCRAD at Ronald Regan National Airport, Arlington, VA. The project scope includes the renovation of an approximately 40,500 square foot Hangar 5; 19,000 square foot Second Floor Hangar 5 and Pier 4; 10,000 square foot Modular Building at coast guard's National Capital Region Air Defense (NCRAD) Rotary Wing Air Intercept (RWAI); and Cost Guard's air Station Washington at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) located in Arlington, VA. Sustainable design will be the standard. At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures. However, in accordance with FAR 19.1305 and FAR 19.14, if your firm is HUBZone or a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and intends to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by e-mail to Mrs. Donna Miller at donna.e.miller@uscg.mil and Mrs. Pamela Argilan at Pamela.j.argilan@uscg.mil.
