- The National Oceanic Acquisition and Grants Office intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under authority of Far 13.106(b) (1). With Semantic Research, Inc. For Semantic Training for fifteen seats provided in three training sessions of five students each. Sole source determination is based on Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) requirements to have fifteen (15) users on Semantic a Pro 4.4. The training will consist of a Two day classroom setting held at Semantic Research's San Diego training facility. The course will contain detailed instruction on utilizing the basic as well as advanced features of Semantic a assure of max of 6 students per class and (1) instruction. The dates of the two classes will be coordinated with you upon acceptance of the quote. Semantic Research, Inc. as the sole provider of the software, Semantic, and the only source for user-training and installation/support services related to it deployment. Semantic training and support has been successfully provided to various programs within the intelligence community (IC) AND Department of Defense (DOD), including DIA. ONI,USDI (I)JIATF-S, USDI(I) and others, and is recognized as valuable and necessary for successful deployment of Semantic based solutions.
