Description
Amendment No. 3 is now posted at www.fedconnect.net. RECOVERY- Sand Dunes Road Construction & Surfacing. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work to be done under this contract includes all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, supplies, and materials to grade and reshape existing road surfaces, including excavation and embankment construction and install base and surface rock as specified. Work includes preparing existing surfaces, realigning and section of road, supplying, spreading and compacting base and surface course aggregate and other incidental work, including constructing an intersection and a helipad. NAICS Code is 237310. The Sand Dunes Road is located approximately 15 miles northeast of Christmas Valley, in Lake County. Project price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated start work is April 15, 2010, and performance time is 60 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20% bid guarantee (FAR 52.228-1); Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is March 1, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
