- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Office (CGS) in Portland, Oregon has a requirement for the Pacific Islands Fish and Wildlife Office (Honolulu County) via a Performance Based Service Acquisition (PBSA) for development of species status updates for 108 listed endangered and threatened plant species that are reported from the islands of Kahoolawe, Lanai, Maui, and Molokai. These status updates will be included in the proposed rule to list 32 plant and animal species on the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Lanai, and designate critical habitat for 142 species, including the 108 listed plant species. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to organize the species status information provided by Pacific Islands Fish and Wildlife Office (PIFWO) of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), to obtain new information from primary sources for those species for which the PIFWO does not have current status information, and convert the information into the approved template. The selection process shall be "Best Value" in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-02 Evaluation - Commercial Items. All evaluation criteria will be clearly stated in the solicitation. Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration www.ccr.gov (CCR) and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov. Request for Quotes (RFQ) number 10181AQ609, including all attachments will be posted on www.fbo.gov (FedBizOpps) in approximately 15 days. The RFQ response date has not yet been determined.
