Description
Location Map and Location Info ****** 4/9/2010 - Adds more detailed location info. ****** OR EMK 2005(2), Agness Road, Siskiyou National Forest, Curry County, Oregon. This project consists of 1500 FT of bridge repairs, bridge painting, temporary traffic control, bridge and guard rail replacement and other small items of work. See "Description of Work" for additional details. See attached call for HUBZone interest. This project will include 2 bid schedules. There will be two alternate schedules. Only one schedule will be awarded. Work shall be completed by January 15, 2011. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1 million and $2 million. If the project is a Small Quantity Generator (generating 220 pounds to 2,200 pounds hazardous waste per month) or a Large Quantity Generator (generating more than 2,200 pounds hazardous waste per month), the contractor must retain a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) in good standing and with experience managing the hazardous wastes associated with the Project to oversee waste management at the site. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
