- Notice of intent to Sole Source. The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Sequoia Disposal, 35767 Hopewell Rd, Squaw Valley, CA 93675. This contract will be for solid waste collection and disposal from Cedar Grove of Kings Canyon Nation Park. On July 27, 2004 the Fresno County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution to establish Exclusive Service Areas for all of Fresno County. Sequoia Disposal is the designated franchised hauler for the Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon NP. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals but serves as a procurement notice in accordance with Far 5.101(a)(1). Authorities: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source. The NAICS code is 562111and the associated size standard is $10.5 Million. Any potential interest in the proposed contract action must be received by the Contracting Officer within 17 days of this notice (Monday April 26, 2010). Email contact is fred_picavet@nps.gov.
