CLASIFICATION CODE: C - COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FSC CODE: B529 SCIENTIFIC DATA NAICS CODE: 541990 SCIENTIFIC SERVICES REPONSE DATE: 04/24/2010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement for Laboratory assistance in studies to determine the effects of Ocean Acidification. See attached statement of work for complete description of services. All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed order will be issued for a period of performance is from September 2009 through May 2010.
