- RECOVERY - This is a sources sought notice for market research only. It is to determine the availability and interest of potential firms having the skills, capabilities, and experience necessary to perform the described project and related works. This is not a solicitation notice. I. PROJECT INFORMATION: The NAICS code is 238320 Painting Contractors; and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. The anticipated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Construction services to rehabilitate four water storage tanks used for potable water on the Colville Indian Reservation, in the State of Washington, in Okanogan and Ferry Counties. Work will include spot repairs to cracked welds and holes, and recoating the interior and exterior of the metal tanks. Work will be performed and completed before September 30, 2010. Below is a description of the tanks to be rehabilitated: 1. Nespelem, WA 250,000 gallon tank 2. Keller, WA 55,000 gallon tank 3. Omak, WA 60,000 gallon tank 4. Malott, WA 124,000 gallon tank An interested party with the capabilities necessary to perform the stated project and work may submit a Capability Statements that include the following information: A) Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, and DUNS number. B) Capability of the company or team to perform a contract for the work as described in this notice. Submit list of a minimum of 5 completed projects of similar size and complexity to this work including application work. Include for each project: 1. Project name and location. 2. Name of owner. 3. Name of contractor. 4. Name of engineer. 5. Name of coating manufacturer. 6. Approximate area of coatings applied. 7. Date of completion. Applicator Qualifications: Provide documentation that demonstrates: 1. Experience of prime contractor or subcontractor in application of specified coatings for a minimum of 5 years on projects of similar size and complexity to the work. 2. Applicators personnel are trained for application of such specified tank coatings. C) The type of business of your company and business size ("other than small", small business, HUBZone small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, etc.), and supporting documentation, if available. Capability statements must be received no later than April 19, 2010, and should not exceed 10 pages. Submission of capability statements is voluntary. Capability statements will not be returned and responses to this sources sought notice do not obligate the Government to award a contract. This sources sought notice is for procurement planning purposes only, and is related to a potential project funded under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) of 2009.
