- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Aircraft Division intends to issue a follow on to Contract No. N00421-06-C-0036 on SOLE SOURCE basis to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems under the authority of FAR Part 35. Contract N00421-06-C-0036 was awarded under Broad Agency Announcement No. N00421-05-R-0109. The follow on contract will continue development of a side-looking airborne radar (SLAR) system, based on the existing General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems Data Collection System. (DCS). The DCS SLAR system is installed on a Convair 580 aircraft operated by General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems and is to perform airborne data collections in support of NAVAIR's Advanced Sensor Application Program. The contract's period of performance is four (4) years which includes a base year and three (3) option periods. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Responses must be received by 17:00 PM Eastern Time on 25 April 2010. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is: 541712. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
