- Description
- This procurement is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned concerns. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, fuel, power, and water (except Government Furnished Property) to perform asbestos abatement and reinsulation in accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings at the United States Military Academy (USMA) and outlying areas. All work shall be done in conformance to the United States (US) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) laws, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards, New York State Department of Labor (NYDOL) standards, and specifications contained herein. At the completion of asbestos remediation, the surfaces shall be visibly free of contamination and debris. The area(s) shall also be clean and free of debris encapsulated with an asbestos inhibitor and ready for occupancy or additional repair work. Period of Performance shall be one base year and four option years. The solicitation will contain additional specifications. The successful Contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562910 and the small business size standard is $14 million.
