- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the Transtech Systems for the Shoulder Wedge Maker (SWM) Item Number 8000-0040 and Item Number 8000-0040R for the Safety Edge Loan program. Transtech Systems is the only sole source that proprietary rights on engineering data, design and product documentations for the SWM. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is April 23, 2010.
