- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the manufacture of 32 Connector/Frame Assemblies. The successful offeror shall manufacture the Connector/Frame Assemblies in accordance with specifications called out in the supplied drawings. Please note that the drawings and specifications associated with this procurement will only be available by requesting a compact disc from the negotiator. Only those vendors who have an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) registration will be provided the compact disc. Please visit http://www/dlis.dla.mil/jcp/ for further details on the program and registration. The solicitation will include instructions on requesting the compact disc. The resultant Contract will be Firm Fixed Price. The Solicitation is Unrestricted. The NAICS is 334417, size standard is 500 employees. The award will be based on Best Value (Past Performance, Technical Approach, Delivery Schedule, Quality Assurance, and Price). Further details to be provided upon issue of RFQ #N66604-10-P-2591, which is anticipated to be on or about 23-Apr-2010. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
