- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Directorate of Contracting, USMA, West Point, NY intends to increase the quantity of an existing contract on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The increase is against a competitive contract awarded to Mercury Luggage Manufacturing Company of Jacksonville, Florida, a small contractor. The contract is to supply trunk lockers for the cadets at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. The delivery date is April 22, 2010. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or a request for proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 6:00 PM on April 9, 2010.
