Description
The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Pacific Northwest Regional Office has a requirement for services necessary to design and construct a materials storage building for Grand Coulee Dam's Third Powerplant. The building and its related systems shall be designed and built in order to obtain a "Silver" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design version 3.0 (LEED) rating. BOR intends to issue a two-phase design-build type procurement for this requirement. Selection procedures will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 36.3, Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three one-year accounting periods. The order of magnitude for this procurement is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This procurement will be awarded using the negotiated procedures set forth in FAR part 15. This procurement is being advertised on an unrestricted basis. Proposals will be accepted from all responsible and responsive small and large business concerns. Prospective contractors shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to the award of any contract, for more information regarding this requirement please visit www.ccr.gov.
