- Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS)/Request for Information (RFI): The Purchase Request Process System (PRPS) Program Management Office (PMO), 754 ELSG/ILSP, at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking sources to provide sustainment and maintenance of PRPS. PRPS is a web-based system that bridges the gap between Requirements and Contracting. PRPS automates the front-end of the acquisition process, obtains electronic fund certification from the Accounting and Finance System, and electronically transmits the entire PI package to contracting near real time. The PRPS Data System Designator (DSD) is D203. PRPS is based upon, compliant with, and follows the architectural guidelines set forth in the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) 6.0, and Global Combat Support System - Air Force (GCSS-AF) architecture. PRPS focuses on the initiation and processing of Purchase Requests (PRs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Delivery Order Requests (DORs), amendments an! d Administrative Commitment Documents (ACDs) for sustainment of buy and contract repair of stock listed items (National Stock Number (NSN), Non Cataloged (NC), and Locally Controlled stock numbers) and non-stock listed items, a.k.a. pseudo number, requirements. PRPS supports more than 5,000 users including Item Managers (IMs), Production Management Specialists (PMSs), Equipment Specialists (ESs), Engineers, and more than 30 other user types at the Air Logistics Commands (ALCs) by providing a streamlined and lean paperless capability to accomplish competition screening, create PRs, MIPRs, and DORs, amendments and ACDs with all associated artifact data and/or attachments. Most interfaces with PRPS are near real-time for more up-to-date data needs. This SSS is in support of market research being conducted by the Air Force to identify capable potential sources.
