- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to Lone Star Aerospace (LSA), Plano, TX toprovide continued support for alignment and technology engineering support services to the NAWCWD Executive Leadership. This includes support of existing, in production data collection and data collection systems, ongoing implementation of improvement recommendations, new data collection, analysis, process improvement proposals, and process improvement support. LSA possess the unique qualifications and expertise to perform this effort, as LSA has provided data collection, analysis, has identified recommendations for improvement areas, and is supporting implementation to the NAWWD Executive Leadership. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is contemplated for a period of performance of five years. The Level-of-Effort is estimated to be approximately 9,600 hours. Award will be made on or about July 1, 2010. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firms believing that they can provide the required services may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 7 days after the date of publication of this notice. The firm must clearly show their ability to perform the work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product to the war fighter.
