- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Logistics Office intends to award a sole source procurement to Elsevier, Inc in accordance with FAR Part 13. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39. The procurement is to provide the following periodical databases and site licenses under an annual subscription: MD Consult, Nursing Consult, and Pain Medicine Collection for the medical library at VA San Diego and VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government may consider all interested inquires from vendors received by April 14, 2010, 12:00 PM Standard Pacific Time. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to the requirement by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, E-mail address and Point of contact. Inquires received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by e-mail or facsimile at (562) 961-1359. Fax submissions must be followed up with an email confirmation to the Contracting Officer.
