- Description
- The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) intends to enter into a 12-month contract with four 12-month option periods with a qualified contractor that shall provide technical assistance and training that support Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grantees in developing and implementing performance-based educator compensation systems. The contractor shall also provide administrative assistance to TIF program staff. These services will ensure that federal funds help to improve educator compensation systems. Services provided by the contractor shall include: 1)Logistical support for annual grantee meetings; 2)Technical assistance to grantees; 3)Monitoring assistance; 4)Development of profiles of new grantees for publication on the CECR web site and development of items for CECR newsletter; 5)Assistance with Government Performance Results Act (GPRA) and Program Assessment Ratings Tool (PART) reporting. The approximate release date of the Request for Proposal is April 23, 2010, and the approximate closing date is May 24, 2010. Contract award is tentatively scheduled for June 30, 2010. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract. http://www.ccr.gov/ FUNDING: This project is funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
